Sal’s Pizzeria opened the doors to our first location in April of 2019 in the Foothill Ranch Towne Center. 26612 Towne Center Dr. was formerly known as NY’s Upper Crust Pizza. Upper Crust was founded in 1991 by a third-generation New York Italian family from Brooklyn that specialized in New York’s thin crust pizza. Matt Darienzo, the founder of Sal’s Pizzeria, named the restaurant after his father-in-law, Sal out of his love for both Sal and his pizza (for more on the story of Sal’s, click here). He knew of Upper Crust and thought it would be the perfect place to bring this family pizza business to life.

Sal’s Pizzeria is located in the Foothill Ranch Towne Center right next to the Regal Cinemas and is across from the Foothill Business Park, Target, and Walmart. It is conveniently located near the 241 freeway.

Our pizzeria specializes in making all different types of Italian foods, with an emphasis on New York and Sicilian style pizza.
